Just a quick get away

I had a great time last night and today, spending it with my friend Bushwhack. I unfortunately was predisposed for work most of Thursday, and didn’t get to the Weston Resort until 5:30, but Bushy showed up about 2, and was able to get in 18 before dinner. After a good dinner, a shot of Glenmorangie 10 year old Scotch, and catching the last quarter and a half of the Steelers/Dolphins game (congrats Gunz) Bushy and I kicked back for the evening.

This morning was pretty uneventful, breakfast at a casino and then off to the Gary Player course at Weston for 18. We were blessed with decent weather (relatively speaking) and Bushy played stellar. His mastery around an unfamiliar track was impressive indeed, shooting a clean 75. The guy that showed up in my bag however, had to be a liberal! He couldn’t hit a shot, but could sure pass the blame, LOL!

Anyway, thanks again Bushy for the schooling, and well done holding your tongue. Dang, it’s hard playing a game that has a four letter name in the midst of a bunch of church goers… :)
