"We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God." James Madison

Wolves as Watchdogs

Am I missing something?
Being a former squid, I understand the priciple of "need to know", but from the perspective of the common folk, this seems like a REALLY bad idea to put an Arab company in charge of our sea ports. As we know, only about 5% of all containers ever get inspected, but even if that increases 10 times, it is still only 1/2 of all containers.

The quantity of Illegals crossing the border is frightening to me. Especially with the understanding that a large percentage is actually from the middle east, so here's a question: Who is going to manage these companies and whom are they going to hire?
Answer: Arabs, and Arabs.

Noodle on this: If you were an Arab employer, wouldn't you have a tendancy to hire someone who has the ability to understand your native language? And if that person's documents are only slightly incomplete, wouldn't you be willing to "overlook" the miner details to get an employee that can speak Farsi or some other Arabic language fluently, and be loyal to Allah?

Patience was the operative word. Look for the "back doors" in our security was the enemies plan all along. But no need to do that now because we're letting the wolves watch the sheep. This is such a bad idea for a "boatload" of reasons.
